School is opening for the new school year on Tuesday, September 7. See you all then. A fantastic 56% of our recent Year 11 leavers have achieved at least 5 GCSE grade A*-C grades including Mathematics and English - making Holden Lane the best performing non-denominational school in Stoke-on-Trent. A superb achievement! 89% gained at least 5 GCSE A*-C grades - a school record! Please find attached the Summer Newsletter 2010 from Stoke-on-Trent Parent Partnership Service Holden Lane High School has teamed up with buy.at to create our very own online shop, bringing you discounts from household names such as M&S, Tesco, John Lewis, Littlewoods and Amazon! Not only will you get savings not found on the high street, but Holden Lane will also recieve commission for our PTA fund from everything you buy! Our Under 16 Girls Netball Team came third in the North Area Netball Tournament.
 
Our Year 9 Girls Rounders Team came second in the Sports College's Rounders Tournament.
 
Our Under 16 Boys Hockey Team beat Chase High School 12-1.
 
Our Year 9 Footbal Team drew with Haywood High School 3-3.
